The future is exciting, scary, unknown and the list goes on. When you are young in high school and college it seems like the only thing people talk about is the future. Your family and everyone around you is in your ear telling you how you should live your life and what you should do with your future. They ask you questions like “so what’s your future plan?” “Where are you going to school?” “What do you wanna major in?” “What are you plans for after college?” “You should do this career….” “How are you paying for it?” And the list goes on and on and on. These aren’t bad questions to ask or think about, but sometimes it can feel like the people around you put so much pressure on you to have everything figured out right away and that’s just not possible. I’ve learned that it’s important to…think about the future, but not to the point where it’s giving you anxiety, stress and too much fear. Everything will work out one way or another and sometimes you gotta fall down a few times and learn things for yourself and that’s okay just make sure to get back up. There is a plan for your life and I believe life will work itself out. Do what you love and don’t put too much pressure on yourself to have life figured out because you won’t have it all figured out right away. Sometimes I wish I was on my own completely and out of school and in my career, but that’s just not where I’m at right now and it’s important to enjoy where you are and one day you will get to where you really want to be. Enjoy the ride of life and enjoy where you are RIGHT NOW because everything has its perfect timing!
